The Paper Cutting blade is also important parts of these machines, so the cutting efficiency and using life of paper cutting blades will effect the efficiency of machine directly, so today we will talk about the main factors which effects the blade’s using life.
So what the main factors which effect the Blade’s using life?
1. The material of cutting edge. There are Two Parts of Blades, one is Cutting edge and another is Blade’s body. The using life will effected by Cutting Edge directly. Better material of cutting edge could get longer using life.
2. The shape and angle of Paper Cutting Blade. For single Paper machine, it always use Single edge Blade, and the angle of Single edge Blade is 19degree to 23 degree. It means the Blade will bear too much Pressure under the cutting paper. Much pressure, much wear. While double edge Blades will better because double edge could bear much pressure than single edge blade. So in a word, if under consideration about the material and cutting pressure, the angle of grinding should be small as soon as possible.
3. The Grinding Blades is better, the using life will longer.
4. The material of cutting work piece. The Impurity content of paper is different. The Impurity content is higher, it will wear the blades much, so the using life will shorter too. While if we could control the good and less Impurity content of paper, it will save the using life of Blades.
In a word, there are many different factors could effect the using life of Blade, so different customers should be choose the suitable Blades under detailed using condition and methods!
