What is bond? & The role of bond
Bond is the material of bonding abrasive grains to make different kinds of grinding wheels. The type and property of bond decides the intensity. hardness. heat resistance and corrosion resistance of grinding wheels ,etc. Morever , bond also has certain influence on grinding surface roughness and grinding temperature, bond is mainly based on its’ own properties. Grinding wheels have many types of bonds. The following are the common grinding wheel bond types:
                   1. Vitrified; 
                   2. Resin; 
                   3. Metal; 
                   4. Electro-plated.
