In actual industrial production, each shape of the grinding wheel can be named by a specific English code. If the shape is different, the use is also different. Kindly check the Common wheel shape Code and their scope:
Flat grinding wheel-code: P Main use: cylindrical grinding, internal grinding, surface grinding, centerless grinding, thread grinding, and free grinding;
Double Beveling Wheel-Code: PSX Main Uses: Grinding gear, tooth surface, single thread, grinding round and by the grinding end;
Single bevel grinding wheel-code: PDX main purposes: Grinding a variety of serrations, grinding mill edge, reamer, shaper etc;
Single convex wheel code: PDT main purposes: mainly to solve the large diameter, the thickness of the thin wheel manufacturing difficulties, use and flat grinding wheel the same;
Single-sided concave wheel-Code: PDA Main purposes: for internal grinding and surface grinding, large diameter cylindrical grinding;
Double-sided concave wheel-Code: PSA The main purpose: for cylindrical grinding, sharpening knives, but also for the centerless grinding wheel and guide wheel;
Cylindrical grinding wheel code-N The main purpose: for vertical shaft grinding;

Bowl grinding wheel Code-BW Main use: Sharpening cutter, reamer, broach, disc lathe, gear shaper, reamer, etc., can also be used for grinding machine rails, etc;
