Ceramic bond diamond wheel is mainly used in the grinding and processing of diamond cutting tools, cubic boron nitride cutting tools, cemented carbide, cermets, ferrites, cast iron, precious stones, ordinary ceramics and new engineering ceramic materials, but also for chromium Quench steel bearing rollers, crankshafts for tractors and tractors, gear necks for hydraulic pumps, and other precision grinding.

PCD is a diamond powder and cemented carbide substrate by high temperature and pressure sintering of composite materials, the wear rate than the general reached 13 to 400000, are extremely difficult to process the product. Ceramic bonded diamond wheels have the following five advantages over PCD wheels when processing PCD:
① grinding efficiency of diamond ceramic wheel is more than 3 times the resin wheel;

④ work-piece finish better than resin wheel. Because the resin material in the resin wheel is not heat-resistant, it softens easily at 200 ° C, resulting in greater brittleness, causing the wheel to collapse. Therefore, more copper powder is often added to the wheel to dissipate the heat, Sex, easy to stick around the PCD, making the processed products are not bright. The ceramic grinding wheel processed products can reach almost the extent of the mirror, is expected to crude, finishing a process is completed;
⑤ can use a large amount of feed. Resin grinding wheel If you use a large amount of feed, or grinding wheel does not move the work-piece, or grinding wheel collapse block.
 
In short, the grinding of PCD grinding wheel, its grinding efficiency, grinding fewer trimming time, the work-piece size machining accuracy, high finish, PCD is the most suitable choice for grinding. However, the existing problem is that the manufacturing cost of the ceramic wheel is higher than that of the resin wheel. Therefore, the durability of the wheel must be further increased so as to enlarge the cost performance advantage of the ceramic wheel when grinding the PCD material.
